ITANAGAR, Sep 21: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of capital’s Dera Natung Government College today organized an event as a part of the NSS Action Plan for the on-going Poshan Maah.
The exercise was conducted to study anaemia condition among adolescent students of the college. A total of 80 blood samples of the girls students were collected and tested by the zoology students and NSS volunteers under supervision of HoD Zoology, Dr. P. Nanda.
The programme concluded with a presentation by Dr. Nanda on the topic “Health and Nutrition of Adolescent Girls”. Principal Dr. N. T. Rikam and NSS Program Officers Pate Jumshi and Talom Taloh were present during the programme. DNGC PR
