 Education Minister, Honchun Ngandam formally inaugurated Shikshak Bhawan and academic block of the Dera Natung Govt. College here today in presence of local MLA, Techi Kaso and senior departmental officers, DNGC faculty members and students.
 
In his address, Ngandam described the teachers and students as true living assets of the college saying that the newly inaugurated building is only a concrete structure but it is they who could take the college reputation to a higher pedestal of glory.
 
He exhorted the students to shoulder the responsibility alongside college faculty in developing the college's image to next level.
 
Principal, Dr N T Rikam reiterated his aim to develop the DNGC into a centre of excellence and sought collective effort  both from school authority and students to achieve the goal.
 
   Addressing the gathering, MLA, Techi Kaso congratulated the college community on getting the much needed infrastructure and requested the Education Minister to look into other demands put forward by the principal also. He also announced to facilitate CC road connectivity within the  campus.
 
From Higher & technical education, Dr Tayek Talom urged the DNGC fraternity to work with commitment to fulfill the requirements of Bengaluru-based National Assessment & Accreditation Council.
 
Vice principal, Kumar Tok also spoke on the occasion.
