AALO, Aug 16: The West Siang District administration has prohibited individuals and NGOs from collecting donations from offices and business community of Aalo Township without permission from authorities.
Citing forceful collection of donation from any individual/officer/departments in the name of association and organization as illegal, it stated that funds placed by the Government in any department for undertaking welfare schemes for the general public can no way be diverted.
Violation of prohibitory order conferred U/S 133 CrPc will attract action under relevant law, it said. DIPRO
