ITANAGAR, Mar 1:The interview for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Swalamban Yojona Scheme was conducted today chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan.
ADC cum Member Secretary Talom Dupak and other members of the District Level Screening Committee, Administrative officers were also present. After the interview, 19 applicants were recommended to the State Level Screening Committee subject to few conditions.
The DC has stressed that more applications are invited from the youths of Capital Complex and asked them to take advantage of such opportunities as it is being held for the benefit of the youths. The DC has further exhorted the youth to submit more project proposals under this scheme and take advantage of the same.
The DDUSY has been launched by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh to encourage the unemployed youth for entrepreneurship through banking channels. The major motive of the DDUSY is to provide the bank loans from Rs 10 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore for entrepreneurs who wish to set up small and medium enterprises. However, entrepreneurs would be required to self-contribute at least 10% of project cost.
