ROING, May 4:The 35th district level monitoring committee meeting for 2017- 2018 was held today in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom. 

During the meeting the status of centrally sponsored schemes and major state sponsored projects were reviewed and discussed. The PWD, RWD, PHE & WS, Power, WRD, UD & Housing, DRDA and Hydropower departments presented PowerPoint presentations with details on the schemes being implemented by them. 

The Deputy Commissioner advised all the work implementing agencies to inform all concerned about the works proposed, sanctioned and being undertaken by the departments to avoid any problems that might arise in the later stages. She also asked all present to ensure that projects taken up cater to the needs of the public and benefit the people of the district.
