ROING, Feb 16: The 34 th District Level Monitoring Committee (DLMC) meeting was conducted today at the DC's Conference Hall, Roing in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Mitali Namchoom, ADC (Hq) Chestha Yadav, ADC (Dambuk) Atul Tayeng, DPO M. Dirchi, representatives of work executing departments and administrative officers.
The Committee reviewed the schemes under ACA, SPA, PM's package, NEC, NLCPR, RIDF, BADP, PMGSY, SADA, SIDF etc and major state sponsored schemes.
The Deputy Commissioner, while reviewing the ongoing projects and taking stock of the current status of projects, directed the executing agencies to keep the administrative officers informed about proposed projects at all levels; while preparing projects, when sanctioned and on beginning the work and then on completion, as it would help in monitoring and also help in resolving any issues that crop up. She also suggested that feasibility of use of new technology and pre fabricated material should be studied and adopted in projects proposed in hard to reach areas.
DC Namchoom also expressed satisfaction over the progress of schemes discussed and said that all issues should be discussed so that it can be resolved at the earliest and work completed on time.
ADC Chestha Yadav advised all administrative officers to be alert and enquire about the schemes being implemented in their areas and monitor the progress, as they are the ones responsible and answerable to the public in case any issues crop up.
The Committee reviewed and discussed all the projects, their estimated completion dates and quality of work during the meeting.
