PALIN, Jun 29:To implement and select the first phase of work under CM's Adarsh Gram Yojana for Palin and Tali Assembly Constituency, an interactive meeting of the District Level Committee was held chaired by Deputy Commissioner  Kra Daadi on Friday. Yaglung and Guchi village were adopted as model village.

DC Pige Ligu briefed the gathering about the model village and gave details of the schemes selected by the gram sabha for the scrutiny of the members. He advised all to make concerted effort for the development of the village and to prioritize the schemes on need basis. He also said that although the BDOs are the nodal department for model village but they should liaise with the concern line departments for execution of the schemes and overrule duplicity.

The district level committee selected schemes, which are improvement of water supply system, installation of solar street lights and animal treatment shed etc.
