Itanagar, Jul 15: The Ministry of Drinking Water & Sanitation, GoI has undertaken a series of events from June to October 2019 across the country to celebrate the Open Defecation Free (ODF) movement, the extraordinary journey of biggest behavioural change programme as well as to recognize the Swachhta Champions for their outstanding contribution towards the Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin).
As a part of this programme, District Level Swachh Mahotsav 2019 was celebrated in first week of July and State Level celebration has been planned to be held on July 16  at capital’s Banquet Hall. Minister (PHE & WS) will preside over the function and Swachhta Champions from the districts will be felicitated for their remarkable achievements in ODF sustainability.
