Tawang, Jan 15: District Health Society, Khadro Drowa Tsangmu District Hospital conducted a meeting of the members of the District Task Force for Immunization here at the office chamber of I/c DC Tawang on Tuesday to review preparedness for the forthcoming National Immunisation Day. 
The meeting was chaired by I/c DC Tawang Lobsang Tsering and attended by all members which included NGOs, religious institutions, GREF, paramilitary, doctors from all PHCs and CHCs of Tawang district and media. I/c DC while  appreciating  the health workers in reaching out to the interiors, appealed the doctors and health workers to provide services more dedicatedly and achieve the hundred per cent target of immunization and also exhorted the government employees and paramilitary personnel to help the health workers on the coming National Immunization Day. DRCHO Dr. Lobsang Tempa gave a Power Point Presentation on Intensified Mission Indradhanush-2 wherein he gave a detailed information on the district plan to achieve the desired target of immunization and activities undertaken during the  1st round of Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 2.0 in December 2019 and requested all Medical Officers and In-charges to train their subordinates by January 17 for the forthcoming  National Immunization Day.
DMO Tawang Dr. Wangdi Lama expressed satisfaction on the performance of health workers and sought cooperation from all to get every child in the district vaccinated. National Immunization Day target in Tawang district is to vaccinate 4680 children of 0-5 years of age, he informed. Dipro
