Boleng, Jul 30:  A District Level Review-cum-Consultative Committee meeting for the quarterly ending March 2019 for Siang district was convened  here on  July 29  under the chairmanship of the  Deputy Commissioner Rajeev Takuk,  attended by the officials from banks  and various departments.
DC reviewed the performance of all banks in the district under Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for the quarter ending  March 2019, status of district  CD ratio along with respective updates. Lead District Manager Lead Bank Office Pasighat, HoDs and officers from various departments like Rural Development, Horticulture, Agriculture, Urban Development, PHE, Electrical department etc, bank managers and representatives of all Rural Banks in the district and SBI Pangin participated in the meeting. Detailed discussion was undertaken on the progress of various government sponsored schemes, NPAs &  recovery position along with  drawing of  schedule for holding of Financial Literacy Camps (FLCs).
Further, ways to achieve the government's objective of ‘Doubling of Farmers Income by 2022’ and financial inclusion of all through social security schemes were also discussed. Representatives from various stakeholder departments put forth their issues and difficulties in implementation of schemes and ways for coordination between banks and concerned departments were also suggested and adopted.
