ITANAGAR, Mar 20: A solo motor cyclist, Nikhilesh from Mumbai, who is on trip to explore Indian Diversity, after crossing 18 states today reached Itanagar and met Director Youth Affairs DK  Dinglow and Dr. KR Meetei, in-charge Adventure Cell and discussed ways to promote adventure sports activities for youths.

Riding his Royal Enfield, Nikhilesh started his tour on his bike from Mumbai on January 21 last. He made his way through 18 states and plans to culminate his Bullet safari on May 7 next at Mumbai.

Acknowledging his spirit, Director Dinglow called for exploring the Trans Himalaya from Changlang District of Arunachal Pradesh to Ladhak Himalayas by organizing a motorcycle expedition for the youths of Arunachal Pradesh.

In response to the request made by Director, Nikhilesh has assured for leading the Arunachal motor cycle expedition team as team leader if invited.

Later on the sidelines of the meeting, Director has also voiced his plan to encourage adventure sports activities, keeping necessary fund provision in SAADA to motivate youths and hoped that the government will consider the proposed scheme enabling the Department of Youth Affairs in grooming the youths.
