PASIGHAT, Dec 30: A one day Skill Development Awareness Rally-cum-Job Mela was organised today here at the District Industries Centre (DIC).
DC In-charge Tatdo Borang formally inaugurated the rally in presence of ADI M. Megu, ADTH Libang Perme, VTPs (Vocational Training Providers), officers and about eighty trainees registered by the DIC and VTPs. Borang advised the trainees to take advantage of such government programmes targeted to ameliorate the conditions of the unemployed youths of the state.
The department provides such skill development programmes from time to time to ensure employment opportunities to the job seekers in various fields or for commencing self-sustaining ventures in and outside the state with confidence, DC In-charge added. DIPRO
