ITANAGAR, Jul 4:Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan today reviewed monsoon preparedness with SP Capital N Harsha Vardhan, concerned Engineers and officials including representative of TK Engineering and Consortium Pvt Ltd.

Exhorting all officers to work in coordination especially in view of the monsoon season which requires a collaborative effort to tackle any situation, the DC informed that the toll free number of Emergency Operating Centre 1077 can be reached anytime for any emergency by users.

For quick response during disasters, the DC informed that Quick Response Team will be formed under SP Capital and directed the DDMO to hand over all the required search and rescue equipment to the PCRs that will carry the QRTs.

The DC also asked the SP Capital to direct all the Control Rooms of Itanagar, Naharlagun and Banderdewa to respond and act on the calls of the DDMO during any such emergency.

The DC also directed the working departments to display information boards etc in the sinking zones and landslide zones along the roads for alerting commuters.

He also directed the EE Highway and TKE&CPL to be ready with men and machineries for any eventuality.
