WAKRO. Oct 8:  Director General of Police, SBK Singh along with his spouse Dr Sushi Singh visited the Apna Vidya Bhavan and the Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya at Wakro today.
Encouraging the students, DGP advised the children not to be cowed down by challenges in life. The challenges of lack of connectivity, electricity, other basic amenities and facilities should not deter one from aiming high and achieving them and hard work will pay in time, he added. The DG also lauded the 82 Mountain Brigade as well as 2nd Mountain Division of the Indian Army for supporting  girls education in remote part of Arunachal.  Singh also assured that the Arunachal Pradesh Police will be always available to help such cause.
Among others, DIGP Mari Riba, SP Lohit Dr DW Thongon, and other subordinate officers of APP accompanied the DGP.
