ITANAGAR, Apr 24: State Director General of Police RP Upadhyaya on Friday visited the Hollongi checkgate, met the frontline warriors on Covid-19 duty and distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to them.
“I am very much satisfied with these personnel who are doing their duties sincerely during this pandemic in very checkgate,” DGP said, also informing that he had interacted with the police as well as all other personnel including health, NDRF and paramilitary forces who are delivering Covid-19 duties in Hollongi checkgate. “Besides the full PPE quota, we have distributed masks stitched by the family members of the police personnel,” Upadhyaya added. All the frontline warriors are sincerely engaged in thermal screening of outsiders and sanitization of essential vehicles are also going on perfectly, he stated, assuring that all-possible assistance will be provided to the frontline warriors, if needed, in the coming days.
