AALO, Jan 17: Lt Gen Harpal Singh, Director General Border Roads recently visited the road sector of 44 BRTF in the forward district of Shi-Yomi on Tato-Manigong-Tadadege road and Yarlung-Lamang road along the Indo China Border in Arunachal Pradesh on January 16 last. The DG directed all staff to expedite the progress of various ongoing works to achieve the allotted tasks of current financial year.
Appreciating the work being done by the GREF personnel in nation building in these difficult terrain and inclement weather, he stressed upon quality of work as well as safety of the persons while working. The visiting officer also interacted with troops in forward areas and motivated them for early completion of ongoing works. Accompanied by Additional DG(East) PKH Singh,VSM, the DGBR also visited the headquarters of Chief Engineer Project Brahmank at Ranaghat and was briefed about works being executed by BRO by the Chief Engineer RK Dhiman.
