ITANAGAR, Sep 28: Director General of Sports Authority of India (SAI) Sandeep Pradhan called on Chief Minister Pema Khandu today.
Chief Minister assured full support of the state government during Pradhan's tour of the state to assess the sports facilities in the state.
The meeting discussed on identifying new sporting talents from schools, colleges other than sports academy. It also discussed on opening of three new Sports Centre of Excellence for Martial Arts, Weight Lifting and Boxing in the state.
On infrastructure issue, Chief Minister suggested use of prefabricated buildings considering the challenging working period in Arunachal due to unfavourable weather conditions. CMO
