YUPIA, Feb 18: A DFTI meeting on RI Micro planning and District Level Co-ordination Committee meeting on 1st Round NDD 2019 was held today at ZPC conference hall, Yupia under the chairmanship of ADC Yupia Tabang Bodung.
Addressing the gathering, ADC said that Routine Immunization is a very vital programme and hence utmost importance should be given for its successful implementation. Emphasing on proper head count for better coverage during RI programme he said that household survey and head count should be done sincerely on priority basis.
He also requested all MO i/c to prepare a good micro plan and to attend RI training which will be conducted by District Health Society, Papum Pare on February 19 and 21 respectively at Yupia. He also assured that though the district administration is busy in the preparation of upcoming general elections it would give all support and assistance.
It was followed by the power point presentation by SMO(WHO) Dr.Amitabha Sarkar on the objective of RI strengthening and micro planning where he highlighted the RI achievement status, problem areas and the strategies to overcome them.
During the threadbare discussion DRCHO informed about uniformity in fixation of vaccination days at all facilities to be followed soon and would probably be the Tuesdays and Saturdays. All Mo i/cs were asked to submit corrected micro plans by March 10 and engage staffs for headcount in respective areas.
Earlier, DRCHO Dr. Worar Taku welcomed the participants and also laid out detail objective of the meeting. He also gave presentation on status of RI micro plan and NDD 1st round 2019.
The meeting was attended by Deputy SP G.Tai, Tadar Kapa(APO) Department of Education, Dr.Ushma Dharod RRT member(WHO), DRCHO, all MO i/c and other staff. DIPRO
