The 44th Tezu – Sunpura Constituency is witnessing a boost in development with a slew of ongoing projects which includes the Indoor double Badminton court at officers club, Classrooms for IGGC, Mini Secretariat Building at DC office complex, Double storey Science block at IGGC, Police check post and outpost at Digaru, New IB at Yealiang
and New Treasury Building which are coming up in a satisfactory pace with quality work. 
 

Dr. Mohesh Chai who is the local MLA and Minister AH& Veterinary, Dairy Development, Research and Art & Culture paid an unannounced inspection to the sites on May 16 last to take stock of the work.

Expressing satisfaction over the progress of work, Chai said that development is his top precedence to usher the area to new height of growth. “Within short time of three years the constituency is blessed to have number of infrastructure including completion of anti – erosion project at Sunpura to plug the Balijan River which had been creating havoc in the Sunpura circle”, he says. 
Dr. Chai further disclosed about sanctioning of more projects, construction of which is likely to start soon which includes Multipurpose Hall with indoor Badminton court at Tafragam, Danglat, Loiliang and Yealiang; Double storey Administrative block with library & classrooms at GHSS Tezu and Double storey indoor ward at General Hospital Tezu.
