AALO, Jul 11: A  District Education Society meet  under the chairmanship of West Siang Deputy Commissioner drew up an action plan of all schemes to be taken up from flexible pool of resources under Chief Minister’s Samast Shiksha Yojana for improvement of schools and college in the district. 
The members of District Education Society worked out need based schemes in all constituencies of the district submitted by principals, headmasters, BEOs and teacher in charges of various schools. Construction of  toilets for boys and girls,  teacher’s quarters, fencing, procurement of furniture, books and renovation of school buildings appeared prominently on the agenda. 
The DC said that the corpus fund is meant for maintaining critical infrastructure gaps to improve the education scenario of the district. She laid stress on judicious use of every drop of available funds for the betterment of the schools.  West Siang DDSE,  assured to  utilize funds under CMSSY strictly as per guidelines and priority areas worked out by the DES. Members from line departments also gave inputs and useful suggestions.
