Itanagar, Jul 27: The 6th Dera Natung Sub Junior Boys State Level Football Tournament 2019 got underway today here at the Sanghey Lhaden Sports Academy ground.  
In the inaugural match, defending champions, Polocity FC launched the campaign with winning start by defeating debutant Pachin United FC 2-0. Chuku Tacho and Takam Tayeng were in the score sheet for Polocity FC.  Second match was played between last year's runner-up Arunachal SC and Upper Subansiri FC in which the former registered a convincing 6-0 victory. Tatu Riamuk Cherom scored a hat trick for ASC while the other three goals came through Jacky Rapung, Ringu Charkom and Gigi Sha. In the last match, Sanghey Lhaden Sports Academy defeated MSL Jr. FC 5-0.Tame Pao of the winning team scored his first hat trick while Arbaiso Tayeng and Tai Tana contributed a goal each.
A total of eight sub junior teams are participating in tournament. Earlier,  the inaugural match was witnessed by Director Sports, Tadar Appa and President of Nagaland Football Association, Atuo Mezhur along with the executive members of APFA. APFA PR
