ITANAGAR, Aug 3: Defending champions Polocity FC has lifted the 6th Dera Natung Sub Junior Boys State Level Football Tournament 2019 by defeating Janering SC 5-1 in the final played today here at the Sanghey Lhaden Sports Academy Ground, Chimpu.
Polocity FC took an early lead with Risso Lalu scoring in the 5th minute of the game which was later equalised by Tagru Talup of Janering SC in the 32nd minute, thus ending the first half 1-1.
Polocity started the second half with a bang and increased the margin in first minute itself with G. Tama finding the back of the net. It was an one-sided affair then with three more goals coming through T. Hapik (43'), T Maying (44') and G. Racho (51').
Tagru Talup of Janering SC emerged as the highest scorer of the tournament while Chuku Kassar and Grem Tama of Polocity FC were declared the Best Goalkeeper and Player of the Tournament respectively. Newsdesk
