Yupia, Mar 3: The District Election Office, Papum Pare conducted a comprehensive training for the officials appointed as members of the Flying Squad team, (FST) Static Surveillance team( SST), Election Expenditure Monitoring( EEM), Video Surveillance team ( VST), Video Viewing team ( VVT) and Media Certification and Monitoring Committee ( MCMC) at ZPC Hall, Yupia here on Sunday.
Important topics like MCC and functions of the FST, SST, EEM, VST, VVT and MCMC during MCC in-force was dwelt at length by Khoda Lasa, EAC.
CO Mary Bui spoke about cVIGIL and the ESMS ( Election Seizure Management system) app.
“Through cVIGIL citizens can give live reports on incidents of MCC violation within minutes of having witnessed them and theESMS app is used to digitize data for intercepted/ seized items (cash/liquor/drugs/precious metal/freebies/other items direct from field through mobile app during model code of conduct,” CO Bui informed.
