PASIGHAT, Mar 20: The District Election Officer (DEO) Tayi Taggu during a coordination meeting held Wednesday evening directed the telecom service providers to ensure high-quality telecom services during the election process 2024 in the district. He instructed the representatives of the telecom service providers to ensure call quality, reduce outage, drops and improved internet services in the Pasighat township and around all the polling booths across the district, taking urgent measures even while working to upgrade their infrastructure and machineries etc.
The DEO, and SP, Dr. Sachin Kumar Singhal stated that they were monitoring instances of service outage in several locations, time to time. Poor quality services might hamper the ongoing smooth election process, the duo opined and further directed all to submit the action taken report.
The meeting was also attended by ASP Pankaj Lamba and the representatives of BSNL, Airtel and Jio.
