Yingkiong, Feb 19: A meeting was convened under the chairmanship of DC-cum- DEO Upper Siang Hage Lailang to review and discuss the preparedness about upcoming general election at DC’s conference hall, Yingkiong.
The DEO reviewed the progress of manpower, training, material, transport managements, computerization, cyber security and IT, SVEEP, law and order, Vulnerable Mapping and security plan, EVM management, MCC, expenditure monitoring, ballot paper, postal ballot and ETPBS, media, communication plan, electoral rolls, complaints redressal and voter helpline, observers and welfare management.
All Nodal Officers attended and presented the status of task assigned to them respectively. Further DEO Lailang advised all NOs to manage their assigned responsibilities meticulously as per instructions of ECI and also to maintain proper coordination with election office, Yingkiong to discharge their  work smoothly.
