PANGIN, Apr 18: Deputy Commissioner, Siang District, Rahul Singh held a district level review and monitoring committee meeting with all the HoDs and other administrative officers of the district at Pangin on Tuesday.

Reviewing the ongoing developmental activities and activities that had been undertaken in the previous year in the district, DC Singh urged all the departmental heads to make the best of the various governmental schemes like CM Swavalamban Yojana, CM District Innovation and Challenge Fund, CM Gram Adarsh Yojana etc. He also instructed the departments especially agri-horti and other allied departments to come up with innovative schemes for the district. 

Giving special emphasis on the significance of Aadhaar enrolment, account opening and digital payments, he instructed all the HoDs and officers to take every possible measure for the successful implementation of these programmes. He further directed the officers to conduct periodic inspections of PHCs, CHCs, schools, Anganwadis etc in their respective jurisdiction and to hold regular monitoring committee meetings at their level with an action report to be submitted to him.

Exhorting the officials to be proactive and sincere as service providers to the public, he also warned them of strict action for absenteeism and dereliction of duty.
