Khonsa, Jul 3: Tirap Deputy Commissioner Bhanu Prabha on Friday made a surprise visit to the Government Town Secondary School here and enquired about the pass percentages of previous academic years from the Headmaster and teaching staff.
DC urged the teachers to be proactive and dedicated while discharging teaching duties so as to improve the school’s academic results in coming years. Later, accompanied by EE (DUDA), Khonsa she inspected the classrooms, school campus and ongoing construction works and urged the construction agency to ensure completion of works within schedule and as per government-specified drawing. DC further informed that she would carry out similar surprise visits to all educational institutions of the district. Earlier, she visited the Government Higher Secondary School, Khonsa, Government Secondary School, Lazu, Government Town Upper Primary School, Khonsa and Government Upper Primary School, Khela. DIPRO
