ZIRO, Apr 30: District Administration, Lower Subansiri bid farewell to Deputy Commissioner Chukhu Takar on his retirement from services on attaining superannuation today at Subansiri Sadan.
Takar joined the government service as a teacher at DEO, Ziro in 1983. Later in 1986 he was appointed as circle officer and posted at Aalo.
In his service tenure extending over 36 years 9 months and 22 days, Chukhu Takar served the government in various capacities at Ziro, Seijosa, Diomukh , Koloriang and Baljan.
He joined as Deputy Commissioner Lower Subansiri on 3rd April, 2018 amidst the infamous Trans Arunachal Highway controversy. His has been instrumental in the project taking off in 2019 after 12 years of stagnation. Today Potin to ANYA gate –package I and ANYA gate to Pamluk- Package-II stretch of the TAH and Joram to Koloriang road package 1 &2 under Lower Subansiri has witnessed tremendous work progress. DIPRO
