PASIGHAT, Feb 28: Junior Warrant Officer, Indian Air Force (IAF), Guwahati, Balider Singh called on the Deputy Commissioner In-charge T. Borang (ADC) on Wednesday and discussed regarding recruitment for NE youths in IAF.
Borang emphasized spirit of national integration to strengthen the good rapport between the indigenous people and IAF. Describing the youths as future of the country, he called upon them to join IAF for serving the country with dignity and pride. He while urging the visiting officers to provide more job opportunity for the young and energetic youths of the state has stated that serving the country by donning a uniform was a matter of great pride and satisfaction for every individual.
Earlier, the Jr. Warrant Officer Singh briefed the DC about the recruitment procedure in details and further informed that Wing Commander Adiya Udai Singh, Commanding Officer has asked the district authority for wide publicity so that youths from North East Region including non-APST could take part in the recruitment rally being organized at the Borjhar Airforce Station, Guwahati (Assam) on March 17 next.
