NAHARLAGUN, Jun 1: Deputy Commissioner, Himanshu Gupta today visited Oju Welfare Association (OWA) and discussed with staffers on various integrated schemes meant for welfare of under privileged children.
Gupta while interacting with the staffers of Women Help Line (WHL) also took first hand information on the functioning of WHL and went through few cases too.  He also interacted with the inmates.
It is to be mentioned here that WHL and One Stop Center are administered by DC, ICC itself. He also interacted with the children of Child Care Institute (CCI). The DC later also met the special children of Specialized Adoption Agency (SAA) and assured to look into the various issues being faced by them.
EAC Hengo Basar, OWA Chairperson Ratan Anya, WHL Manager Yachu Bini accompanied the DC.
