NAMSAI, Dec 18: Deputy Commissioner Namsai Dr. Tapasya Raghav chaired an orientation training session here on Tuesday to ensure effective implementation of the “Arunachal Rising” programme in the district. All the communicators, Gram Preraks from three CD Blocks of the district attended the training programme with field functionaries of Health and ICDS department.
In her keynote address, Dr Raghav said the prime objective of Arunachal Rising is to make citizens aware about various schemes of the state government as well as central government which are specially designed to revamp rural economy and improve socio – economic status of individuals. She said all the Gram Preraks will visit all the villages/hamlets of the district to sensitize the people and communicators shall take a special class for the students in a routine manner to encourage the student community who are key persons to take part in developmental process.
She also said that Namsai being the lone Aspirational District of the state, “we have to work hard in the field of Education, Health and all other sectors to converge the district into a developed district in the map of the country.”
Many more programmes are being taken up both in print and audio visual media for effective publicity of the programme.
