Itanagar, Jul 19: A significant discussion was organized by the Deputy Commissioner Capital Itanagar Talo Potom, bringing together the head masters and teacher Incharges of Government Upper Primary Schools (GUPS) within the Capital Region and representatives from the Adhyayan Foundation. The meeting focused on enhancing educational outcomes in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the Shaala Siddhi framework. Adhyayan Foundation presented an overview of their organization and the educational interventions they are implementing through school complexes as mandated by NEP 2020. Their initiatives aim to improve the overall quality of education and foster a collaborative environment among schools. 
During the discussion, the DC underscored the crucial role that teachers play in shaping future generations. He emphasized the necessity of foundational learning, noting that improving students' basic skills is essential for enhancing their overall academic performance. The head teachers shared practical examples of how they utilize available resources to create efficient teaching-learning materials. Their innovative approaches and dedication to improving educational practices were highly appreciated by all attendees.
