Moktowa, May 9: Deputy Commissioner of Tirap, Ira Singhal accompanied by Namneet Singh, (probationer), and team of officers conducted a visit to Moktowa village under Dadam Circle to evaluate its tourism potential.
The team was warmly welcomed by the villagers of Moktowa, indicative of the community's enthusiasm and support for exploring tourism opportunities in the area.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner engaged in discussions with the Head Gaon Burah (HGB), Gaon Burah (GB), PRI members, and other villagers to gain insights into the village's unique offerings and assess the feasibility of developing it as a tourist destination.
The assessment marks a significant step towards harnessing the tourism potential of Moktowa village, contributing to the economic growth and cultural preservation of the region.
