TEZU, Jul 14: Power scenario in Lohit and Lower Dibang Valley districts worsened following heavy landslide that washed away big trees damaging the live wire of the Power Grid 132 KV Line between Pasighat and Pangin.
“Restoration is taking time due to inclement weather and we would resume work immediately after improvement in weather situation. Technicians have been called from Itanagar to restore the line at the earliest,” informed EE Power Hage Gumto. Simultaneously, breakdown of the 33 KV power line near central Lohit river due to snapping of service wire and burst of conductor is expected to be restored tomorrow, EE assured.
