PASIGHAT, Oct 10: The All East Siang District Students’ Union (AESDSU) has urged the East Siang District Administration to acknowledge the bravery of a local man who risked his own life to save a minor boy from a devastating fire.
Galo Taga of Niglok village saved the minor boy from the devastating fire by risking his own life as others looked on. Besides commendation certificate from the District Administration, the union has also appealed the Deputy Commissioner to recommend Taga’s name for the State Bravery Award.
The union also sought grant of immediate relief to the recent fire victim of Niglok under Ruksin Sub-Division who lost his home and business in the fire mishap.
