Aalo, Oct 28: West Siang District Administration in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner In-charge, C. Chukhu has chalked out elaborate arrangements to contain the growing nuisances such as entry without ILP, drugs peddling and violation of Motor Vehicles Act in the district.
It has been decided that check gates will be opened at Bam, Sipu Bridge and Patum to check flow of men and material along with monitoring of rented houses, hotels and work sites by Magistrate and police. According to the plans, persons engaging labourers without ILPs will be held responsible and night patrolling will be carried out.
OC Police Station has informed that five cases of NDPS have been registered at Aalo and intensified checking will continue in different locations. Seven persons in connection with gambling who defied prohibitory orders have also been arrested. DIPRO
