ITANAGAR, Mar 30: As per reports received till date from concerned administrative officers of Itanagar, Naharlagun and Banderdewa, the DDMO Capital Complex Moromi Dodum Sonam informed that the total number of partially damaged houses is 400 and fully damaged houses is 19. 

Apart from this, many trees have been uprooted in Itanagar and Naharlagun which damaged some houses and cars in Itanagar. It has been cleared immediately by concern departments of the particular working areas, informed the DDMO.

The DDMO further informed that power supply were also disrupted in the twin capital because many lines were destroyed/damaged. However, the Power supply has been restored in Niti Vihar, Senki park, Panchali and some portions under Raj Bhavan feeder. As for the rest, restoration work is going on.

The DDMO further informed that relief items would be distributed once the formal official modalities are completed.

The DC Capital Complex Prince Dhawan has urged the denizens to remain calm and prepared for any kind of eventuality. 
He has time and again stressed that people residing in low lying areas near river banks and landslide prone areas to evacuate immediately to safer places as in when there is possibilities of flood, landslide in the coming monsoon.
He has also provided the numbers of Emergency Operating Centre (EOC) ICC.
