AALO, Apr 29: In light of the issues of traffic congestion, parking problem, identification of bus and sumo terminals etc of Aalo township, the West Siang district administration today held a meeting chaired by the deputy commissioner and participated by the police and market representatives.
The meeting decided to regulate plying of heavy commercial vehicles to fixed timings in the morning and afternoon in crowded places to avoid congestion. Daily sumos will now operate from the earmarked STCS station etc. Further all issues will be taken up separately with unions and associations for effective implementation.
The DC and AE Highway also disclosed that the company entrusted to carry out the double lane project of Potin-Pangin road will resume work from August next. They appealed all to cooperate with repairing works that are currently underway. DIPRO
