ITANAGAR, Mar 24:
Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex Prince Dhawan has stressed that the District Administration has zero tolerance against illegal bars and restaurants. The District Administration Capital Complex has been carrying out surprise checking of such joints since the last few days and has sealed two of them—Classic Bar and restaurant which was running beyond permissible time without a valid bar license and Oxygen Bar which was running beyond the permissible time.
The DC informed that the exercise will continue to regulate the functioning of the bars and restaurants till all have a valid license from the competent authority. The DC has further appealed to the public to cooperate with the DA in implementing such exercises. The sealing operation was spearheaded by EAC Judicial Toko Babu along with SDPO Itanagar K Sikom and LO to DC, ICC Sanjiv Chakraborty.
