Aalo, Apr 3: Intensifying the efforts to take Covid-19 awareness to the rural areas of West Siang district, a team of doctors and paramedical staff conducted an awareness campaign at PHC Nikte covering a cluster of villages like Igo Kato, Igo Yami, Hu-Rik, Hu Moli and Nikte School campus areas.
The entire hospital was sanitized under the guidance of MO PHC Nikte Dr. Durick Ete. Another team led by DSO Dr. Jombom Kato visited the masjid of Aalo to trace returnees from any of the affected regions. Return tickets were verified and found satisfactory. 
Meanwhile, West Siang DC has appealed all sections of people to cooperate with the DA in maintaining the lockdown advisories and ensure that people under home quarantine are also looked after properly without any discrimination. DIPRO
