JULLANG, May 22: The Nyishi Elite Society (NES) has appreciated the administration and security forces for peaceful conduct of re-polling at 28 - Nampe polling station of 21 - Koloriang and 6 - Gimba polling station of 20 - Tali Assembly Constituency in Kurung Kumey and Kra Daadi District on May 21.
We also acknowledge the effort rendered by Tapi Sorang, Secretary, in-charge Kra Daadi with its district unit, as well as the contesting candidates of 20 - Tali AC, Thaji Gichak Kiogi, Jikke Tako and Dayum Yara, contesting candidates of 21 -Koloriang AC, Lokam Tassar and Pani Taram and their supporters and workers for peaceful conduct of re-poll, it said.
Meanwhile, Nyishi Elite Society in the strongest terms condemned the cold-blooded massacre of sitting MLA Tirong Aboh including his son and 9 others.
We appeal the Government to act tough and ensure speedy delivery of justice to the family of the deceased and injured, NES said in its press statement.
