AALO, Jun 28: The Kaying Administration in coordination with community welfare organizations have adopted far reaching regulatory measures on drug abuse, alcohol and sanitation on Thursday. Chairing the meet, Pumek Ronya DLR&SO Siang and In-Charge EAC Kaying disclosed that these measures were taken up considering the popular will of the people to curb growing abuses which not only derail the youths but leave a deep impact on society. Selling of alcohol and tobacco products to minors below 18 years, unauthorized sale of IMFL and consumption on roadside from Row to Kerang have been banned in the area which will invite imposition of heavy fines on defaulters.
To improve sanitation, regular social services will be conducted on every second Saturday sector wise and ban has been imposed on lottery and housie and loitering of stray animals. DIPRO
