ZIRO, Apr 9: Continuing with its efforts to ensure that essential commodities and services are not interrupted for the public ,the District Administration under the initiative of CO ,Yazali T Thongdok has set up a customer service at ARB bank ,Yazali for cash withdrawals. This would prevent the public from   travelling to the lone ATM at the NEEPCO premises around 6 km from Yazali.
The District Administration also provided ration to 675 labourers and daily wage workers whose livelihood has been drastically affected by the lockdown.Another 1099 labourers are being provided food and shelter by their employers.
Meanwhile to ensure home quarantine is strictly monitored , the District Health Soceity has prepared the map of all the quarantine houses of entire villages of Old Ziro, Hapoli and Ziro-II for quick reference , better follow up and tracking.The DHS has also started thermal screening of policemen on duty.
