YUPIA,  Oct 16: A condolence meeting was observed in honour of late Neelam Nido, Divisional Forest Officer, Department of  Forest and Environment,Banderdewa Forest Division who passed away on Sunday last at Doimukh.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Joram Beda, ADC(Hq) Tabang Bodung along with  all  Heads of Departments, admin officers and staff of District administration observed one minute silence and offered floral tributes  to the portrait of Late Nido at DC office,Yupia  and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul. 
Expressing deep condolences, Deputy Commissioner Dr.Beda, said that Nido's  passing away is not just a great loss to the family but a great loss for society and state as a whole. He was very sincere and capable officer and his contributions to the department and society will always be remembered with great respect, Dr. Beda said. Later the Deputy Commissioner also visited his Doimukh residence and laid wreath  at his funeral. 
Body of late Nido was laid to rest at the premises of his residence at Doimukh with full traditional ritual. Family, friends, staff and well wishers paid tearful adieu to the departed soul.
