PASIGHAT, Sep 19: To ensure removing plastic waste from the surrounding environment, East Siang District Administration, headed by the Deputy Commissioner Dr. Kinny Singh today organized a massive social service as a part of Swachhta Hi Sewa movement at Dangoria Baba Mandir and Raneghat bridge view point/tourist hot spot which was actively participated by more than 500 officers and staff of all government departments.
DC Singh informed that collected plastic waste would be segregated and later would be brought to the nearest collection centre to NHDCIL for recycling. She called upon the denizens to create an environment of cleanliness free from plastic.
