Itanagar, Apr 19: Continuing with its distribution of essential commodities, Capital District Administration on Sunday handed over ration items to the migrant labourers at Doni Colony, stranded students at Niti Vihar area, stranded/needy people near 6 Kilo, Puroik Colony, Dokum Colony and at G-Extension in Naharlagun.
Deputy Commissioner Komkar Dulom informed that a team of officers led by EAC Dakli Gara and CO Laxmi Dodum are engaged in the distribution process since day one. However, with the start of the dedicated helpline numbers for students and those in need of help, calls seeking help are being received every day and efforts are on to reach out to them as early as possible, DC informed, adding that volunteers from Magic Club, Humanity First and WAVE are also helping in the distribution process.
