ITANAGAR, Mar 25:Continuing with the surprise raids, the District Administration Capital Complex on Saturday carried out surprise raids wherein two bars/ restaurants namely Blues Restaurant and Poong Nest bar were found to be running their bars beyond the permissible time. The Executive Magistrate Hengo Basar has passed standing order for sealing of both the bars. The operation was spearheaded by Basar along with SDPO Itanagar K Sikom and LO to DC, ICC Sanjiv Chakraborty. Basar informed that such surprise raids will continue till all the bars/ restaurants strictly adhere to the time as regulated by the District Administration on the basis of the trading license from the Department of Tax and Excise

The DC Capital Complex Prince Dhawan has time and again stressed that the DA has zero tolerance against such illegally running bars/ restaurants.

The DC has further appealed to the public to cooperate with the DA in implementing such exercises.
