ITANAGAR, Nov 3: The District Administration Capital Complex led by AMDO Tapong Ekke ,Techi Laniang Mineral Guard and Tok Prem Camder ,MG carried out surprise checks against illegal mining activities on Friday in various vulnerable locations of the Capital Complex to ensure that no unauthorized extraction of minor minerals are being carried out. 
During the course of surprise checking, two vehicles were seized from Jullang river bed,
8 Tata mobiles, a tractor and a truck were seized from Kankar Nallah quarry area, informed the AMDO.
The AMDO also briefed drivers pertaining to documents like TR-5 for immediate on the spot royalty deduction purpose and mining permit of office royalty deduction. He also briefed them about the APMMCR 2002 Acts.
The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex Prince Dhawan vide an order has banned all kinds of illegal mining activities within the Capital Complex. 
The DC has further stressed that strict action would be taken against illegal violators and has urged the denizens to cooperate with the DA and refrain from carrying out illegal mining activities.
