ITANAGAR, Nov 28: As per the direction of the Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex, a team led by CO Naharlagun, Neelam Teji along with the officers of the Department of Tax and Excise carried out checking drives of bars and restaurants at Naharlagun Tuesday. During the course of checking, the team sealed one Ananiya Hotel at Papu Nallah, Naharlagun that was running illegally without licence and IMFL that was being sold illegally was also seized.
The Deputy Commissioner Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan has time and again stressed that the District Administration has zero tolerance against such violators and action would be taken against defaulters as per relevant sections of law. He informed that the drive will continue and sought cooperation of the public for the same.
Neelam Teji informed that during the drive, all the wine shops were cautioned to strictly adhere to closing time 8pm as per the timing set by the DA.
