PASIGHAT, Jan 18: With the aim of generating mass awareness about ‘Fit India Campaign’, East Siang District Administration organized a cycle rally in collaboration with the District Health Society here on Saturday morning.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Tatdo Borang flagged off the rally from Mirmir Charali which culminated at Gandhi Chowk main market area after passing through different locations. Hundreds of cyclists, members of Nehru Yuva Kendra, DSO (Sports) In-charge T. Tatak, DACO A. Jamoh and members of District Health Society actively participated.
Chief Guest Tatdo Borang administered the ‘Fit India Pledge’ and appealed everyone to devote time daily for physical activities and sports and encourage family members and neighbours to embrace the fitness culture.
